Where is Hobe Sound, Florida?

Hobe Sound is an unincorporated area located in Martin County, Florida. Martin County is north of Palm Beach County and south of St. Lucie County. It is bounded on the west by Lake Okeechobee and on the east by the Atlantic Ocean. There are numerous doctors, hospitals, walk-in clinics, trauma centers, cancer centers and other health facilities nearby. Martin Memorial/Cleveland Clinic have major facilities within minutes. The Hobe Sound / Stuart area also offers many retirement, nursing and specialty care facilities.

How is the Lost Lake community organized?

Lost Lake is comprised of 9 Home Owner's Associations (HOA) which elects a Director to represent them on the Board of Directors. The 9 HOA's make up the Property Owner's Association (POA). The Board members elect a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. All members of the Board have equal votes and meetings are held monthly which all Owners may attend. Is there an airport close by?

The closest major airport with international flights is Palm Beach International which is about a 30 - 40 minute drive. Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport is approximately an hour-and-a-half drive. Miami International Airport is approximately 2 and-a-half hour drive. Orlando International Airport is approximately 2 and-a-half hours away. Buses, taxis, limousines, Uber and Lyft are available as well as train service to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.

Is there shopping nearby?

Shopping is just minutes away in the award-winning City of Stuart, and residents can shop in the nearby towns of Jupiter, Tequesta, Port St. Lucie, West Palm Beach and the world-famous Worth Avenue of Palm Beach. Two malls are within a thirty minute drive. Major stores such as Wal-Mart and many other shops of all types are available. Grocery shopping at Publix, Winn-Dixie, The Fresh Market and Aldi, are all within a few minutes drive. Whole Foods, BJ's Warehouse Club, Sam's Club, Costco and Target are all within a 15 to 30 minute drive. There are many clothing, shoe, marine and other stores such as Loew's and Home Depot just minutes away.

Hobe Sound and Stuart provide many great places to eat from major brands to mom and pop type of restaurants. They provide as diverse a variety of food as you will find most anywhere. Are there nearby health care facilities?

Lost Lake is conveniently located near a variety of world-class health care and treatment facilities such as Cleveland Clinic Martin Health System. Lawnwood Medical Center in Port St. Lucie trauma center is minutes away. There are other major medical facilities in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
